You’ll work closely with a team of experienced professionals, assisting with planning, fieldwork, and day-to-day audit tasks. As a tax staff accountant at Windes, you’ll work on diverse projects, including business, individual, trust, and non-profit tax returns. You’ll handle tax research and planning, all while using advanced technology to streamline your work. Collaborating with a team of professionals and managing multiple clients will provide you with valuable insights and growth opportunities in the tax field.

Windes’ summer internship offers a unique opportunity to get practical experience in both the Tax and Audit & Assurance Services departments. Over the course of 7 weeks (July and August), interns split their time between preparing tax returns, financial statements, and gaining exposure to client service, research, technology, and engagement responsibilities. You’ll work alongside staff professionals, develop practical skills, and get a feel for what it’s like in both areas. Plus, you’ll be part of social events and community service projects, making it an all-around rewarding experience.

Windes’ Summer Leadership Conference is an exclusive, two-day experience designed for students studying accounting, finance, data analytics, or business who are curious about a career in public accounting. During the conference, you’ll connect with professionals at Windes, build valuable leadership skills, take part in collaborative team activities, and enjoy a fun social event with the Windes team.
