Biotechnology Research

University Lab Partners (ULP) is a unique launchpad for biomedical innovators. Located in UCI Research Park, ULP is an independent, non-profit program of the Beall Family Foundation that offers fully equipped, professionally managed wet-lab space—without taking equity or IP. It’s more than a lab; it’s a collaborative community where entrepreneurs connect, share ideas, and grow together. For young professionals looking to break into biotech or grow a startup, ULP offers the tools, space, and support to make big ideas happen.

ULP Summer Internship

University Lab Partners hosts a Life Science Career Exploration intenrship for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students, at varying levels. You will spend 9 weeks working in a working wet laboratory and learn how to communicate with peers, scientists and industry professionals. You must have taken Molecular Biology 1 and 2 at ULP in order to apply for this internship.
